The Ukrainian Helsinki Group

Below are the names of the 33 Ukrainian men and women who have joined the Ukrainian Public Group to Promote the Implementation of the Helsinki Accords in Kiev since its establishments on November 6, 1976. The category "Former Political Prisoner" does not include incarceration on charges stemming from Helsinki activity. The categories "Term" and "Date" refer to the latest sentence, regardless if the person was previously imprisoned. Asterisks denote imprisonment on charges not connected with Helsinki activity. The years listed column 7 are imprisonment/exile. All time periods are listed in years.
