90th of patriarch to be celebrated

PHILADELPHIA - The metropolitan's chancery here has announced that the U.S. celebrations of the 90th birthday of Patriarch Josyf will be held February 28, 1982, under the protectorate of Archbishop-Metropolitan Stephen Sulyk and all Ukrainian Catholic bishops in the United States.

The day's events will begin with a ecumenical pontifical divine liturgy at the Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in Philadelphia. A concert will follow at the Philadelphia Academy of Music.

A special nationwide organizing committee will be established in order to prepare the celebrations.
