Parma cathedral organizes Vacation Church School

PARMA, Ohio - The fourth annual Vacation Church School of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedra was held from July 28 through August 2. This year 60 children participated in the program. Along with learning the teachings of the Orthodox Church, the children were made aware of the tragedy that Ukrainians suffered under communism. They visited the Famine Memorial Room in the school building and placed flowers and recited prayers at the Famine Monument on the grounds of the cathedral.
