to attend its New Year's Eve Ball. Starting at 9 p.m., dance to the music
of Luna, enjoy hors d'oeuvres, an open bar and a Viennese table, and visit

- ELLENVILLE, N.Y.: The executive branch of the Ukrainian American Youth
Association (SUM) invites families to join in the New Year's Eve festivities
that will take place at the SUM resort. Usher in the New Year with a New
Year's Eve dance to music by Zorepad. A special New Year's package will
include entrance to the zabava, midnight champagne toast, one-night stay
and a champagne brunch on New Year's Day. Persons wishing to stay at the
resort for the remainder of the New Year's weekend are invited to do so.

- SILVER SPRING, Md.: Cradle of Hope Adoption Center will be hosting
an international adoption information seminar at its Silver Spring office
at 6-8 p.m. The seminar is free. Come and meet families who have recently
adopted and learn about the international adoption process. Cradle of Hope
offers an adoption program, for children from Ukraine, as well as Russia,
