OBITUARY: Olga Fox, 74, member of UNA Branch 409

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. - Olga Fox, a homemaker and longtime member of Ukrainian National Association Branch 409, died here on September 1 at the Community Medical Center at the age of 74.

Born in Dunmore, Pa., daughter of the late Elias and Mary Galician Hryshko, Mrs. Fox was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church in Clarks Summit, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a 1944 graduate of Dunmore High School.

The wife of Joseph H. Fox, the couple would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on November 27.

Also surviving are sons, Joseph R. of Dublin, Ohio, and John R. of Colchester, Conn.; daughter, Kristin Salmon of Clarks Summit; six sisters, Mary Worsnick, Ann Poveromo, Genet Boland, secretary of UNA Branch 409; Irene Palmer and Marge Reilly, all of Dunmore; and Evelyn Hinz of Roaring Brook Township; 10 grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on September 4 at Our Lady of the Snows Church, followed by interment at St. Michael's Cemetery in Dunmore.
