A thank-you from Krasnodon

The thank-you letter below was sent to the Ukrainian National Association by spokespersons for the Barakova Coal Mine in Krasnodon, Ukraine.

We hereby express our deep respect to the Ukrainian National Association and its president, Ulana Diachuk, for aid in the amount of $9,405 to families of miners killed at the Barakova mine.

The directors of the coal mine, family and friends of the deceased are genuinely grateful to you for your empathy and compassion in the wake of the horrible disaster that struck our mine. Your help to families of the deceased offered us great moral support.

As Taras Shevchenko, our beloved poet, said, "U kozhnoho svoya dolia i svyi shliakh shyrokyi" (Everyone is endowed with his own fate and broad path..."). May our land be adorned by beautiful people, whose lives and work brighten day and night, bring goodness, peace and harmony!

We wish you the best of luck in your charitable activity. May you be successful in your life, your work and your future path.

With deep respect and thanks,

O.A. Chepurny
Director of the M.P. Barakova coal mine

M.C. Krohka
Head of the Committee PRVP

D.D. Kolitventsev
Head of the Executive Office NPH
