Ukraine's U.N. Mission celebrates Armed Forces Day with reception

NEW YORK - Ukrainian Armed Forces Day was celebrated at the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations on December 7. Among the guests attending was the group above (from left): Steve Rudyk, a former Army combat veteran and vice-commander of Ukrainian American Veterans Post 301 of Yonkers, N.Y.; Col. Victor Hvozd, military attaché to the United Nations, with his wife, Olha; and Taras Szczur, former U.S. Marine sergeant and national publication/public relations officer for Ukrainian American Veterans.
