Khoma and Vynnytsky to appear in Weill Recital at Carnegie Hall


NEW YORK - Cellist Natalia Khoma and pianist Volodymyr Vynnytsky will appear in concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on Wednesday, May 29, in a program of works by Beethoven, Mozart, Shostakovich, Granados, Cassadó and Vynnytsky.

The duo, natives of Lviv who both studied at the Moscow Conservatory, are frequent collaborators whose concerts in the past have included performances at the Beethoven Festival at Trinity Church in New York, at Steinway Hall for a televised concert series in Japan, as well as the concert series "Cello Plus" at Michigan State University, "Music at the Institute" at the Ukrainian Institute of America in New York, the Rosslyn Spectrum Theater in Washington as part of The Washington Group Cultural Fund Music Series and at the Music and Art Center of Greene County at the Grazhda in Hunter, N.Y.

Prior to the Carnegie concert, Ms. Khoma and Mr. Vynnytsky will appear at the Lake San Marco Chamber Music Society in California on May 26.
