UNWLA "Scholarship Tree" helps needy students

NEWARK, N.J. - Branch 86 of the Ukrainian National Women's League of America held its annual Christmas Bazaar here at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church on Sunday, December 1. The event featured various vendors and was highlighted by a Scholarship Tree, where attendees could select an ornament with a needy child's photo awaiting a scholarship sponsor through the UNWLA Scholarship Program. Seen above with the tree is the chair of the UNWLA Scholarship Program, Maria Polanskyj.
