Hartford SUM branch marks 50th anniversary

HARTFORD, Conn. - More than 300 guests attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the Hartford Branch (oseredok) of the Ukrainian American Youth Association (known by its Ukrainian acronym as SUM) held on Saturday, November 16, at the Ukrainian National Home. The program included cultural performances by the branch's youths, a keynote address, dinner and dancing to the tunes of the Zorepad band.
