CAMBRIDGE, Mass.: The Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute presents a special screening of Canadian director John Paskievich's new film "My Mother's Village" (National Film Board of Canada, 2001, 101 minutes). The dcumentary spans two continents and several generations to delve into the experience of exile and its impact on the human spirit. The film will be shown in large-screen format in Jefferson Hall, Room 250, on the Harvard Campus, at 7:30 p.m. Free and open to the public; location is subject to change. Preview of Events is a listing of Ukrainian community events open to the public. It is a service provided at minimal cost ($20 per listing) by The Ukrainian Weekly to the Ukrainian community.

To have an event listed in Preview of Events please send information, in English, written in Preview format, i.e., in a brief paragraph that includes the date, place, type of event, sponsor, admission, full names of persons and/or organizations involved, and a phone number to be published for readers who may require more information. Items should be no more than 100 words long.

Please include payment for each time the item is to appear and indicate date(s) of issue(s) in which the item is to be published.
