Iskra Ukrainian Dance Academy holds spring recital

WHIPPANY, N.J. – The Iskra Ukrainian Dance Academy held its spring recital program on Saturday, May 11, at the Ukrainian American Cultural Center in Whippany, N.J., offering a program of dances by the school’s five groups. The dances were interspersed with musical numbers, both vocal and instrumental, performed by some of the older students. Iskra Ukrainian Dance Academy was established in 1996 and currently has approximately 75 students ranging in age from pre-school through high school; its artistic director is Andrij Cybyk.
