New Haven Ukrainian School begins 2015-2016 school year

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – On Saturday, September 19, students and teachers of New Haven’s Ukrainian School attended a divine liturgy ay 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Afterwards there was a teacher/parent meeting in the church hall.

The school’s director, Myron Melnyk, spoke to the parents about the school. Halia Lodynsky talked about the new bilingual preschool that is starting this year. The first day of classes was Saturday, September 26.

In 2016, the Ukrainian School in this city will have been in existence for 100 years.
